Location and Directions
Coki Dive Center is located at Coral World, off Route 38 in Smith Bay on the northeast end of the Island.
If you are arriving by taxi, simply tell the driver to drop you at Coral World and not at the beach. The Dive Shop is located on the left side as you enter the Coral World parking lot. From Havensight dock, the taxi cost is $9PP, 20-25 minutes ride. From Crown Bay dock, west of downtown Charlotte Amalie, the taxi cost is $10PP, 30-40 minutes ride Taxi stands are located at each dock.
We are less than 10 minutes from Red Hook. Most taxis are multi-passenger, the driver might be dropping passengers at other locations on the way, so give yourself plenty of time to arrive.
If you have a rental car, there is limited parking by our shop, especially on busy days. Ask us for a parking pass.
Coki Point and the surrounding area is situated at a meeting point between the Caribbean and the Atlantic Ocean and offers excellent visibility, often over 70 feet, with a wide variety of sea life year-round. Coki beach is also a popular beach for snorkeling, the best way to avoid crowds is to arrive early in the morning.
Coki Beach is open to the public, at no charge. It is operated by the Virgin Islands Parks and Recreation Department. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are available for rent along with Food and drinks. Beach vendors don’t take credit cards (No ATM machines are available at the beach).
